In 2023 one of the charities we supported was Chigwell Riding Trust. Through our fundraising efforts we were able to donate over £22,000. Chigwell Riding Trust was the first ever riding centre for people with special needs and has been established in Chigwell for sixty years. Riding instruction is given to people of all ages and abilities.

We were delighted to hear how the money has helped from Deborah Hall MBE who manages the charity.

“The support we have had from The Breeze Club has been quite phenomenal.  Chigwell Riding Trust had the pleasure of purchasing a wonderful horse called Pip, she is a 15.1 Highland X.  She has a lovely temperament and everybody loves her.  She is only 14, which is fairly young in our line of work,  so still has lots to learn.  As a consequence Pip joining our equine team is changing the lives of so many of our disabled and special needs riders.

You also purchased an Equissage Pulse (which is basically a large vibrating pad that fits around the horse or pony where the saddle normally goes) this helps with stimulating the body and for our older horses and ponies it makes a huge difference to them.  Without fail we use it every day.
