Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) was founded by a group of parents desperate to find a cure for their children, and established in the UK in 1986. JDRF fund pioneering research to treat, prevent and ultimately cure type 1, and advance technologies to improve the long-term health and life expectancy of people with the condition as well as supporting families living with the condition by providing vital information and resources to support them and help them manage their condition. This is done through our nationwide community engagement programme.
